2011 is passing by and a new Dragon year is coming. It is time for gathering with family and friends to celebrate this holiday season. On behalf of the Middle Missouri Chinese Association (MMCA) committee, I sincerely invite you, your family and your friends to attend our 2012 Chinese Spring Festival Celebration Party.

This year, the party will be held at the MU Memorial Union, N103-Stotler Ballrooms on January 22 (Sunday), 2012. This is a nice comfortable hall located on the first floor of the north building. The registration will open at 5:00 pm.

As usual, dinner will be provided. The fee will be $8 per person, $15 per 2 people, and free for 5 year olds and under if you make your reservations on the MMCA website (http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/VDHD9SD). The fee will be $10 per person at the registration desk. Please take the advantage to make your online reservation as early as possible. The diner will start at 5:30 pm.

After dinner, we will have performances which include music, singing and dancing by the students, the members, professional, and our kids.

We also have a PowerPoint slideshow to reflect our Chinese community’s activities and achievements. Please submit your favorite slides that you want to be shown during the party. The slides may be about your kids, your travels, your publications, and so on. Please put your photos with a short note (event and your name) in PowerPoint and send it to me by e-mail (wangmx@health.missouri.edu) by 1/15/2012.
